1. Our Commitment

Tours By Luca is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors with disabilities. We aim to meet the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by EN 301 549.

2. Conformance Status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet every success criterion, but we have reviewed the site and corrected the issues we are aware of, including:

  • Booking forms with properly labeled fields for screen readers.
  • Keyboard access to all navigation menus, not only mouse/touch.
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and links against their background.
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Screen reader announcements for form submission results (success and error messages).
  • A "Skip to main content" link and semantic page structure (headings, landmarks).

3. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Third-party embedded content, such as the TripAdvisor and Google review widgets, is provided by external services and may not fully meet the same accessibility standard we apply to our own code.
  • Images and articles added through our content management system depend on staff providing meaningful descriptions; older or imported content may occasionally be missing a fully descriptive text alternative.
  • We have not yet completed a full manual audit with assistive technology (e.g. a screen reader) across every page of the site.

We are continuing to test and improve the site, and we prioritize fixes based on the impact on our visitors.
